Vooty Golf County, South India’s leading golf course and gated residential property, located in Vikarabad has integrated advanced treatment technology at the Golf Course for irrigation purposes. While keeping proper water management and drainage practices in mind, the layout has incorporated the Vikarabad Sewer Treatment Plant (STP) by laying 10 Kms pipeline. Encompassing environmental best practices and sustainable development, Vooty Golf County reclaims the treated waste-water to be used in the project.

The installation process at the plant began in May 2018 with the new system expected to be in operation shortly. Kancharla Construction is responsible for upgrading the plant. Treated wastewater is being used for landscape irrigation; this Plant will help the system to produce 2 MGD of treated water with a peak hour flow of 2.5 MGD. The recycled water keeps the green spaces beautiful while preserving potable water for drinking and other uses.
