Stanford Hospital was also affected by the crash and is reported to be running solely on generators while the power is being restored.
Major companies in the area affected by the crash are Facebook and VMWare. No reports of Facebook downtime has been reported.

The crash happened early today before 8 AM local time. Media reports indicate that three people have been killed and speculation is that they are part of the Tesla Motors company.

The plane is a small model Cessna 310 which can hold up to 7 people. Weather in the area at the time was foggy which may have contributed to the crash.
