Was Ishmeet Singh murdered?

Foul play cannot be ruled out in the circumstances Ishmeet Singh was killed. The 19 year old singing sensation was one of the most melodious voices to be heared in recent times. Everyone believed he had a wonderful career. A career which perhaps was shortened by vested interests.

There are few factors which are suspicious in the whole story. First is the company itself which took Ishmeet to Maldives.

1. The company
The company, Big Events, has no history or presence on the web. The CEO of the alleged event management company, Big Events, does not even have a single link on Google without the name of Ishmeet. You can reproduce the results by visiting:

By a rare possibility, if Gurmit has spellings of Gurmeet, even then it gives no results:

It is strange that a person with such an unknown background can head an event management company to lead an event in one of the most expensive destinations in Asia, Maldives?

2. Aquaphobia
Ishmeet had aquaphobia. That means, he was scared of water. A person with aquaphobia will never venture into water without his free will, especially the deep end of the pool.

3. Post-mortom report
The post-mortom report shows that he died of asphyxia that is lack of adequate oxygen. It can happen when a person drowns. However, he also had a head injury, which indicates that he might have been hit with a blunt object and was thrown in water to drown.

4. No life-guard, No guests?
All posh hotels in Maldives have a life guard. Why was a life guard absent on duty? Was Ishmeet the only guest in hotel? No one else could see him drowing and save him?

Gurmit Makkar called the family in evening. Evenings are the most pleasent times to go for swimming and the pool should have more people around.

How come there are no eyewitnesses of the incident? What was the exact time of the incident? There are stories where it is said that his friends mistook his cries for help as 'prank'. What are the names of the friends and why don't they come on record? His family does not talk about his 'friends' being with Ishmeet.

Did police come at the incident? Were any photographs taken? Was he taken to a hospital? Did a doctor attend to him? Nothing is clear.

There are also no promos about Ishmeet's show in Maldives available on Google.

5. Recent accident
Just few days back, Ishmeet was involved in a car crash where his car was totalled and he barely escaped death. The anchor of the program and singer Shaan had revealed this in Hindustan Times.

6. Rivalry in Music Industry
Most singers get paid in cash for every performance. Indian music industry is highly competitive. Many times, there are singers with unknown background and past, and belonging outside India who suddenly get endorsements and stars to support them. They also get substantial funding. And many talented ones, just keep struggling with no support.

There have been reports in the past also about untimely deaths and accidents of singers. Shanti Sharma (Delhi), Surjeet Bindrakhia (Punjab), Natasha Anastasiades (UK), Nasrat Parsa (Afghanistan), Suzanne Tamim (Lebanon), Zayda Peña (Mexico), Georgina Joshi (USA), Kesha Wizzart (UK), Selena (Mexico), Kaya (Mauritius), Robin Munis (USA), Mary Hansen (UK) and many others.

Most of these deaths were either violent murders, unsolved deaths or accidents.

7. No probe
Relatives have demanded a probe into the circumstances in which he was called. There has been a post-mortom done in Ishmeet's body in India. However, there has been no probe done in Maldives.

India and Maldives have great relations together and with Prime Minister taking interest and attending the funeral, it should have been the first thing to do. Police and authorities in Maldives has been totally quiet about the incident.

8. Coincidences
Too many coincidences, like around the trust vote, mean that something is fishy. It is time that the government and authorities try and do something seriously about this incident. It is too suspicious for anyone with a logical frame of mind to ignore.
