Regarding a photo circulating on the Internet claiming that toilets in the Tsing Yi community isolation facility are without any partitions, a spokesman for the Security Bureau (SB) clarified today (March 3) that the photo is not a toilet in the isolation facility.

The SB reaffirmed that although Tsing Yi community isolation facility was completed in just seven days, the pedestal and squat-type toilets inside are all independent compartments (see attachment). The shower compartments also equipped with hot water supply. The cleaning contractor will conduct disinfection and cleaning regularly to ensure the hygiene of the facility. Each occupant will be given a floor plan clearly indicating the location of the toilets and shower compartments.

The SB strongly condemns individuals who deliberately mislead members of the public by publishing the inaccurate photo.
