Canada – Itinerary for the National Culture Summit: The Future of Arts, Culture and Heritage in Canada

National Culture Summit gathers leaders for a conversation on resilience, sustainability and transformation in this important industry.

OTTAWA – Pablo Rodriguez, Minister of Canadian Heritage, will host the National Culture Summit May 3-4, 2022, at the National Arts Centre in Ottawa.

The summit will bring together leaders in the arts, culture and heritage sectors from across the country for a national conversation on resilience, sustainability and transformation. The summit will take place in person and online with various media opportunities.

Media should arrive at least 15 minutes before the start of event.

Canada – Itinerary – Minister Ng to meet with World Trade Organization partners in Geneva

The Honourable Mary Ng, Minister of International Trade, Export Promotion, Small Business and Economic Development, will be meeting her World Trade Organization partners in Geneva, Switzerland, on November 10 to 12, 2021.

November 9, 2021 – The Honourable Mary Ng, Minister of International Trade, Export Promotion, Small Business and Economic Development, will be meeting her World Trade Organization partners in Geneva, Switzerland, on November 10 to 12, 2021.  

The Minister will participate in bilateral meetings and roundtable events with representatives from WTO member nations.

Minister Ng will also host Members of Ottawa Group to discuss their ongoing work ahead of the WTO 12th Ministerial conference.

Throughout these meetings, Minister Ng will focus on advancing a rules-based international trade system, and Canada’s priority of ensuring a strong, inclusive, and sustainable economic recovery.
