Labour Department expands Pilot Rehabilitation Programme for Employees Injured at Work ***************************************************************************************      The Labour Department (LD) today (May 9) increased the industry coverage of the Pilot Rehabilitation Programme for Employees Injured at Work (Pilot Programme). Immigration Department repatriates Vietnamese illegal immigrants to Vietnam (with photos) *****************************************************************************************      The Immigration Department (ImmD) carried out a repatriation operation today (April 30). A total of 26 Vietnamese illegal immigrants were repatriated to Vietnam. The persons removed comprised 12 men and 14 women, all of whom were unsubstantiated non-refoulement claimants. Labour Department investigates fatal work accident in Kwai Chung ****************************************************************      The Labour Department (LD) is investigating a fatal work accident that happened in Kwai Chung this afternoon (March 21) in which a man died.      The LD immediately deployed staff to the scene upon receiving a report of the accident, and is now conducting an investigation to look into its cause.

He was certified dead at the scene.
