Deadly traffic mishap in Lok Ma Chau

Authorities are examining a deadly traffic mishap in Lok Ma Chau today (April 21) in which a female passed away.
Authorities got a report at about 8.57 am that a coach driven by a 67-year-old male was taking a trip along Kwu Tung Road towards San Tin. When approaching a park, it apparently tore down a 41-year-old lady who was crossing the roadway.
Sustaining major head injuries, the female was hurried to North District Hospital in unconscious state and was licensed dead at 10.18 am.
The chauffeur was detained for hazardous driving triggering death and is being apprehended for more queries.
Examination by the Special Investigation Team of Traffic, New Territories North is under method.
