Hong Kong – Public advised to defend against duplicated phony messages on Guangdong-Hong Kong Regular Quotas for cars

Public prompted to defend against duplicated phony messages on Guangdong-Hong Kong Regular Quotas for lorries

A representative for the Transport Department (TD) today (April 29) once again advised members of the general public not to be misguided by current phony messages in social networks and messaging groups that declare Hong Kong citizens can straight request legitimate irreversible Guangdong-Hong Kong Regular Quotas for their automobiles and utilize different limit control points (BCPs). A representative for the TD clarified that candidates for the Regular Quotas should fulfill the application requirements stated by the Mainland authority and send the defined files (such as company registration files of both Guangdong and Hong Kong) to the Mainland authority.
