This Diwali, homeowners who are planning to invest in new furniture or renovate existing ones, can opt for CenturyPly’s Total Cover Warranty (TCW). This warranty adds a layer of convenience and peaceful mind to the homeowner as he knows his/her furniture is covered for at least next 10 years. Available on eligible Club Prime and Architect Ply purchases, the programme provides a 10-year commitment to reimburse not only the cost of plywood but the cost of entire furniture arising from a confirmed covered plywood defect.

The commitment addresses the associated expense of restoring furniture affected by a covered plywood defect. Reimbursement includes eligible costs for plywood, laminates or veneers, adhesives, labour and transportation. It applies to the entire furniture item if fully impacted, or the affected portion if partially impacted, in accordance with the Programme Terms & Conditions.

Total Cover Warranty provides cover for 10 years from the date of purchase, provided eligible purchases are registered online within 90 days. Thereafter, the standard warranty continues: lifetime for Architect Ply and the remaining 20-year warranty period for Club Prime. For consumers upgrading living rooms, dining spaces or wardrobes during the festive season, the programme makes warranty coverage a consideration alongside design, finishes and material selection.

The programme follows a 2.5-year exercise in which CenturyPly consolidated customer complaints from across India and identified two critical gaps. First, conventional warranties replace defective plywood but may not cover the wider financial impact. Second, customers often struggle to raise complaints years later because invoices are lost, dealers have shut down or helpline numbers have changed, leaving them running from pillar to post.

To address the second gap, CenturyPly has introduced an online portal where customers can register purchases within 90 days, ensuring records remain accessible. Customers can subsequently log complaints through the same portal. CenturyPly’s nationwide customer service infrastructure assesses complaints and aims to address them within seven working days, subject to verification and the applicable process.

For consumers undertaking festive-season renovations, the investment extends beyond plywood to decorative finishes, fittings and skilled labour. A confirmed covered plywood defect can therefore mean paying again for work already completed. Total Cover addresses eligible restoration costs, helping reduce the financial burden of rebuilding affected furniture rather than leaving homeowners with only replacement plywood. This gives consumers an additional basis for evaluating materials for their festive makeover, with protection extending beyond the celebrations, subject to timely registration and the Programme Terms & Conditions.

Ms. Nikita Bansal, Executive Director, CenturyPly, said: “For years, our industry has measured warranty by one thing – replacing the plywood. But when we sat with our customers’ real cases, we found that’s not what keeps them up at night. A defect means dismantling furniture, redoing laminates and veneers, paying for labour and transport all over again. The plywood was never the real cost. The rebuilding was. Total Cover was built to solve exactly that – extending protection beyond the plywood to the furniture built around it, giving homeowners real confidence and peace of mind”

This festive season, give your home a fresh beginning with CenturyPly and let the celebrations come with a little extra peace of mind.
