Visits to Green Tech Fund Assessment Committee revealed

The Government today (October 2) revealed the consultation of 5 brand-new members, Ms Irene Chu, Ms Tracy Wong Harris, Ms Linda Ho, Professor Kenneth Leung and Professor Samson Tai, and the reappointment of 6 members, to the Green Tech Fund Assessment Committee (GTFAC) for a two-year term beginning with January 1, 2027.
“The GTFAC, chaired by the Permanent Secretary for Environment and Ecology (Environment), comprises members from different sectors including academia, industrial and environmental practitioners. It is responsible for assessing applications for the Green Tech Fund (GTF) and monitoring the progress of approved projects. We are grateful to the members for their agreement to serve on the GTFAC to work with the Government in promoting the development of low-carbon and green technologies,” a spokesperson for the Environment and Ecology Bureau stated.

The Government established the GTF in December 2020 to offer much better and more concentrated financing assistance to research study and advancement jobs that assist Hong Kong decarbonise and boost environmental management.
