Funskool India Ltd., a leading name in Indian toy manufacturing, has refreshed its arts and crafts range, Handycrafts with a new generation of creative activity kits designed to make art, exploration and skill-building more accessible to children.

The revamped range has been developed through multiple stages of testing and refinement, with improved components that are easier for children to handle and use. The focus is simple: less struggle with the activity, and more freedom to create.

The latest additions, Sand Art and Mini Canvas Art, encourage children aged 5 years and above to experiment with colours, textures and artistic techniques while creating something they can proudly call their own.

The Sand Art range includes various themes such as Food Treats, Animals and Princess & Unicorn, while Mini Canvas Art is available in Princess & Unicorn, Space Adventure and Aqua Animals themes. With multiple options to choose from, children can pick the world that interests them most and make the activity their own.

The range also features a more compact packaging design, developed to use materials and space more efficiently across storage, transportation and retail. The redesign reflects Funskool’s effort to make more conscious product and packaging choices while reducing unnecessary material usage.

True to Funskool’s philosophy, the new Handycrafts range has been designed to deliver quality creative experiences at accessible price points because the opportunity to explore, create and learn a new skill should not be limited by affordability.

Commenting on the refresh, K.A. Shabir, CEO, Funskool India, said: “Every child is creative. Sometimes, all they need is the right starting point. With the renewed Handycrafts range, we have focused on making creative activities easier to engage with, while ensuring children can experiment, learn and enjoy the satisfaction of creating something on their own.”

The revamped range marks the beginning of a broader Handycrafts portfolio, with more skill-based, theme-led and utility-focused creative experiences planned for the future.
