< period data-ua-type="1" onclick ="stpPgtnAndPrvntDefault(event)"> Guwahati: The fast-track court established for rapid trial of the Zubeen Garg death case finished its hearing on the bail plea of implicated Shekharjyoti Goswami on Monday however booked its order.
The decision on the plea will be pronounced on May 28.Shekharjyoti, Zubeen’s bandmate, is lodged in prison together with 6 others given that Sept in 2015 in connection with the vocalist’s death case.Zubeen passed away on Sept 19 in 2015 while swimming in the sea in Singapore. He went to the island country on Sept 17 and will carry out in the 4th edition of the North East India Festival.Following the event, an SIT made up by the Assam Police CID performed a substantial probe and submitted a chargesheet in Dec. The chargesheet called 7 implicated, consisting of celebration organizer Shyamkanu Mahanta. Of them, 4 were scheduled on charges of murder.Previously, the court declined bail to Mahanta and Zubeen’s supervisor Siddharth Sharma.
