Anamika Chauhan from Mainpuri in Uttar Pradesh emerged as the topper of the Agra division in the CBSE Class 12 examinations after securing 99 per cent marks.

Speaking about her achievement, Anamika said consistent self-study, regular revision and guidance from teachers played a crucial role in her success.

Key To Success

Anamika said she used to study for four to five hours daily after school and focused extensively on revising classroom lessons and practising previous years’ question papers.

“It feels really great. This was possible through our teachers’ guidance and by solving previous years’ question papers. After school, I used to study for four to five hours every day. Whatever was taught in school, I practised thoroughly. I focused on self-study and reading NCERT textbooks,” she said.

She further said that she aspires to become a judge and drew inspiration from her father, who is an advocate by profession.

“I want to become a judge. I was inspired by my father as he is an advocate by profession,” Anamika added.

Student Shares Advice For Aspirants

Sharing advice for other students preparing for board examinations, Anamika stressed the importance of paying attention in class and maintaining regular practice.

“Students should focus on what is being taught in class. Self-study, solving sample papers and practising previous years’ questions regularly can help in securing good marks,” she said.

Credits Success To Teachers And Parents

Anamika credited her teachers, parents and her own efforts for the achievement.

“I would give the credit for my success to my teachers, my parents and myself as well,” she said.
