2 more trial tasks on hydrogen fuel innovation offered agreement-in-principle by Inter-departmental Working Group on Using Hydrogen as Fuel

A representative for the Environment and Ecology Bureau (EEB) stated today (April 27) that the Inter-departmental Working Group on Using Hydrogen as Fuel has actually offered agreement-in-principle to 2 more applications for trial jobs on hydrogen fuel innovation.
The stated jobs issue 2 applications sent by Concord Bus Company Limited and Sun Sang Tourist Company Limited respectively, with each task including experimenting with 2 hydrogen fuel cell coaches for regional traveler services.
The representative for the EEB mentioned, “The Working Group has promptly initiated the examination process upon receipt of detailed information regarding the trial projects. The Working Group gave agreement-in-principle to these two applications on April 22.”
To date, the Working Group has actually offered agreement-in-principle in phases to an overall of 37 applications for hydrogen energy trial jobs. The Working Group will continue to refer to the functional information and experience gathered from the trials, in order to supply recommendations for the constant improvement of the security and technical standards on the regional application of hydrogen energy.
