
Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu, evaluating the Medical
Andhra Pradesh federal government will be executing a universal health plan supplying health cover to all from April 1, 2026.
In an evaluation conference of the Health Department in Amaravati on Friday, Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu directed authorities to deal with the methods to roll-out the previously-announced plan.
According to main information provided at the evaluation conference, 12 lakh claims were being settled through NTR Seva Trust at present, at an expense of 330 crore monthly.
The Chief Minister directed the authorities to concentrate on preventive and alleviative systems in public health to lower expense on the health sector.
Medical colleges
On the medical colleges, Naidu stated the federal government would keep the jurisdiction and guidance of the medical colleges, consisting of those established in the general public Private Partnership (PPP) mode.
The tender procedure will be finished by next month for brand-new medical colleges proposed to be established in Adoni, Markapuram, Madanapalli and Pulivendula. Naidu directed the authorities to accelerate the procedure to finish the establishing of medical colleges to render finest healthcare in backwoods too.
Each medical college was allocated 50 acres to establish a medical college and healthcare facility in 25 acres and staying 25 acres would be allocated for para medical, nursing, oral care, health, Ayurveda and yoga centres. The medical colleges and healthcare facilities need to operate based on the standards of the federal government and NITI Aayog.
