Survivors stated tense minutes ahead of their incredible escape, albeit with injuries, while the not so fortunate ones died in their sleep. Travelers broke window glass to leave to security.
36-year-old Nelakurthi Ramesh was taking a trip back to Bengaluru after investing Diwali with his loved ones. He was with this spouse and their 2 kids.
“When I woke up, all I could see was flames – bright yellow and orange. I could barely breathe. My first thought was my wife and children; I knew I had to get them out safely. With my bare fists, I smashed the rear window and pushed my family out of the burning bus. Others followed us, and we ran as far as we could. The next thing I remember was waking up in the hospital,” he was priced quote as stating by TOI.

Another resident Ghantasala Subramanyam got up after fellow traveler’s immediate shake. “Amid the sizzling sound and sight of leaping flames, it took me a moment to process what was happening,” Subramanyam stated. “I grabbed my bag and tried to exit through the main door, only to find it jammed as the fire spread rapidly. I saw someone smashing a window using a laptop, and without hesitation, I jumped out along with 10 others,” he stated, stating the scary.
In the middle of the mayhem, acts of unforeseen generosity shone through. One complete stranger, driving the very same path, used to hurry Ghantasala Subramanyam and 3 others to the nearby medical facility, leaving an enduring impression on those impacted.
Survivors of a current fire shared traumatic accounts of their desperate efforts to leave the flames. What authorities on Kurnool bus catastrophe
