The Tamil Nadu federal government prepares to establish a biotech commercial park in Chengalpattu, about 60 km south of Chennai. The Tamil Nadu Industrial Development Corporation (TIDCO) has actually provided a Request for Proposal tender to engage a specialist for the Preparation of the Master Plan and Detailed Project Report (DPR) for the task.
Tamil Nadu is currently home to a dynamic base of pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and health care business, supported by strong scholastic organizations and an experienced skill swimming pool. In line with this vision, TIDCO proposes to establish a Biotech Industrial Park as an incorporated center for innovative production, agreement advancement & & production (CDMO/CMO) centers, research study cooperation, and sector-specific Industrial clusters in domains such as pharma-biotech, vaccines, biologics, biosimilars, commercial biotech, farming biotech, marine biotech, and allied life sciences sectors, the tender stated.
The park will offer Good Manufacturing Practice-compliant commercial plots, modular producing systems, pilot-scale centers, bio-incubation and screening centres, typical energies, and biotech-specific facilities to bring in biotechnology production business, secondary markets, R&D centres, and start-ups, the tender stated.
