Congress leader Rahul Gandhi on Monday (September 15, 2025) checked out the flood-hit locations of Amritsar and connected with those impacted by nature’s fury.

He was accompanied by Punjab Congress chief Amrinder Singh Raja Warring, Leader of Opposition in the Punjab Assembly Partap Singh Bajwa, Amritsar MP Gurjeet Singh Aujla and other celebration leaders.

After showing up in Amritsar, he headed to Ghonewal town in Amritsar’s Ajnala and satisfied the flood-hit individuals to check the damage.

Ghonewal town was amongst a number of locations in Ajnala which was severely struck by floodwaters.

Mr. Gandhi sat amongst some flood-affected individuals and communicated with them.

After checking out Ghonewal town, Mr. Gandhi is arranged to pay obeisance at the historical gurdwara Baba Budha Sahib in Ramdas location of Amritsar.

The previous Congress president is likewise set up to check out flood-hit locations of Gurdaspur district.
