Indian Institute of Technology Madras(IIT-M) has actually partnered with Federal Express Corporation (FedEx) to introduce the FedEx SMART Centre (Supply Chain Modelling, Algorithms, Research and Technology Centre) to establish sustainable, technology-driven logistics options.

The centre, backed by a $5 million grant from FedEx will integrate research study, advanced digital tools, and market proficiency to reimagine supply chain options. It will drive interdisciplinary jobs covering carbon-neutral operations, self-governing shipment systems, EV facilities, predictive analytics, and AI-driven employee security.

The SMART Centre will likewise intend to drive Pan-India effect through skill outreach, internships and research study tasks.
