Just weeks after undergoing angioplasty, 75-year-old filmmaker Rakesh Roshan has proven that age and health challenges are no match for passion and joy. The veteran director surprised fans and his superstar son Hrithik Roshan by effortlessly performing the hook step of the vibrant War 2 song Aavan Jaavan, and winning hearts all over the internet.

The Comeback Dance We Didn’t See Coming

Clad in a bright red shirt and jeans, Rakesh joined a group of young dancers in a studio and matched their energy step for step. His graceful moves and infectious smile lit up the room — a moment made even more powerful by his recent health scare. Sharing the video, Hrithik captioned it with pure pride:

“UNBELIEVABLE!!!!!! BEST EVER. Papa, you have killed it!! What grace!”

“Baap Bhi Kuch Kam Nahi!”

Rakesh Roshan posted the video with a spirited caption:

“Baap bhi kuch kam nahin! #AavanJaavan is pure contagious joy.”

He congratulated the War 2 team, including Hrithik, Kiara Advani, Ayan Mukerji, and choreographer Bosco Martis, for creating such a lively track that got him grooving.

Even actress Kiara Advani couldn’t resist commenting: “Besttttt!!”

Dancing Through Recovery

Last month, Rakesh Roshan underwent angioplasty in the neck and later shared recovery updates from the hospital. Now back home, he says he’s fully recovered and is slowly returning to his fitness routine.

His message to fans? “Stay on top of your health, especially the heart and brain.”
