Lumos combines state of the art technology, such as augmented reality and 40-foot LED screen displays, with familiar game favorites such as bowling, laser tag, axe throwing, arcade gaming and more. By elevating family favorite attractions with technological wizardry, Lumos aims to create extraordinary moments for guests, whether its a casual night out with friends, a family birthday celebration or a corporate team-building event.

The Lumos concept is a strategic fit with Signorelli Companys ongoing plans to develop the 60-acre Valley Ranch Entertainment District, designed as a fusion of entertainment, dining and cultural experiences. The district is the future home of a new 210,000-square-foot convention center spearheaded by the East Montgomery County Improvement District (EMCID). Currently the Valley Ranch Entertainment District includes The Hill at Valley Ranch, an outdoor, multi-purpose entertainment venue; Cinemark movie theater, Randall Reed Stadium and New Caney ISD Natatorium. Hope Media Group, the Houston-based ministry with multiple media brands including KSBJ, WayFM, and Spanish-language radio network, Vida Unida, is building a new Ministry & Media Center with state-of-the-art broadcast studios slated to open in 2025.

Lumos is an exciting new concept that further expands the appeal of our super-regional center for residents and visitors, said Ralph Ireland, senior vice president of Commercial and Residential Development for The Signorelli Company. From a scale and variety perspective, Lumos is an ideal addition to our vision for the Valley Ranch Entertainment District as we continue creating a dynamic entertainment destination unlike anything available in a suburban location.

Additional Lumos features include a 6,000-square-foot arcade with an Omni arena for virtual reality experiences, karaoke rooms and private event spaces.

Lumos is the creation of Greg Little, a former executive with Shell Oil Company who brings 24 years of experience in sales, marketing, customer experience and leadership to his role as founder and president.

After conducting a great deal of market research and observing firsthand the popularity of Valley Ranch Town Center, I knew it was the ideal location for the debut of Lumos, said Little. Valley Ranch Town Center enjoys a strong and consistent customer base from the surrounding communities and, when the new convention center opens nearby, it will expand the target market exponentially.

Recognizing that food and drink are an important part of any entertainment outing, Little said Lumos will have a cocktail bar, restaurant and outdoor patio for watching sports on oversized LED screens. Little plans for Lumos to offer delicious, high-quality versions of favorite fare. For example, pizza will be prepared in an authentic wood-fired oven imported from Italy.

Our goal with Lumos is to revolutionize this category of the entertainment industry with an exceptional guest experience from start to finish, said Little.

Noting that Lumos will be within walking distance from the future conference and event center, EMCIDs President and CEO Frank McCrady believes this upscale entertainment venue will be a boon to future conference goers.

Whether people are heading to a trade show, a conference or a youth sports competition, they all want somewhere to go and relax or have fun at the end of the day, said McCrady. This type of entertainment venue creates a synergy with our efforts to offer potential clients full packages that attract and recruit events.

Valley Ranch Town Center is ideally situated at the rapidly growing corridor of Interstate 69 and the Grand Parkway and currently ranks as the #1 most visited open-air shopping center in Greater Houston. The center offers a diverse collection of shopping, dining, and entertainment options from both national brands and unique local operators.
