MAN-DAR of Atlantis is the first book in a trilogy about the adventures of MAN-DAR. Kenneth J. Sousas book takes inspiration from the works of the twentieth-century American clairvoyant Edgar Cayce. The story starts with Manny Silvas journey to Central America to find evidence of Atlantis in the Mayan pyramids. Unfortunately, he falls ill and becomes delusional, leading him on an adventure as MAN-DAR.

Readers are then taken to another time and place, with Manny, now as MAN-DAR, flying an airship to rescue a barbarian princess who the evil High Priest of Inanna is holding. MAN-DAR reached the underworld and rescued the barbarian with the help of his assistant and local peasants. The High Priest follows MAN-DAR out of the underworld with an unearthly army, but MAN-DAR causes their demise. Man-Dar flees to Atlantis via the Forbidden Causeway with his slave and the barbarian he has developed an affection for and vows to release the enslaved person from servitude.
