Mrs. Estess brings 20 years of human resources expertise to her role as Chief Human Resources Officer of Southern Veterinary Partners, a position she has held since 2019. Based in Birmingham, Alabama, Southern Veterinary Partners is a veterinarian-owned network of animal hospitals that operate throughout the country, fulfilling its mission of providing personalized care with exceptional hospitality.

Originally recruited out of college into the banking industry, Mrs. Estess spent 16 years serving Regions Bank, beginning as a Management Associate Program trainee and ascending to the role of Executive Vice President. She also consulted and worked in a leadership development HR role at Altec, a leading provider of products and services to the electric utility, telecommunications, tree care, lights and signs, and contractor markets where she served from 2017 until attaining her present role with Southern Veterinary Partners in 2019.

Mrs. Estess was selected as a Top 40 under 40 recipient by the Birmingham Business Journal in 2012 as well as named a Women to Watch in 2021. She attributes her success to her family, who has provided her with unwavering support. Professionally, she is also grateful to the many strong mentors who guided her along her career path.

Mrs. Estess holds a Bachelor of Arts in Broadcast Journalism from Mississippi State University and is pursuing her Masters of Business Administration from Florida State University. She is a Society of Human Resources Management Senior Certified Professional, a Gallup certified coach, a Momentum Leadership Program graduate, and a member of the Forbes HR Council, LLC. She has also supported her community by participating in many different non-profits such as Girls Inc, Junior League of Birmingham, YWCA, and the United Way.
