The Hong Kong Economic and Trade Office in Brussels (HKETO, Brussels) is bringing the message “A New Era – Stability • Prosperity • Opportunity” across Europe.

The message “A New Era – Stability • Prosperity • Opportunity”  is the theme for the celebration of the 25th anniversary of the establishment of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (HKSAR).

Starting from June 1, trams fully wrapped with this message will parade through streets and alleys in Milan, Lisbon, Brussels and Istanbul.

The HKETO, Brussels will host HKSAR 25th anniversary gala events in Brussels, Paris, Milan, Lisbon, The Hague, and Dublin.

Signature events will be held in the form of receptions at the Royal Museum of Fine Arts of Belgium in Brussels, the City of Paris Museum of Modern Art in Paris, and the Kunstmuseum in The Hague. Through an exhibition on the M+ museum and the Hong Kong Palace Museum at the receptions, guests can take a glimpse of the vibrant art and cultural scene in Hong Kong.

Hosting the receptions at museums in Europe aims to highlight the HKETO, Brussels’ efforts to promote Hong Kong as an international platform for art and cultural exchanges. The HKETO, Brussels looks forward to forging deeper cultural collaborations and exchanges between Hong Kong and Europe.

In Brussels, the iconic fountain-statue Manneken-Pis will be dressed in a Hong Kong costume on July 1 (Brussels time).
