Media are invited to a virtual event regarding the release of the Minister of National Defence’s Advisory Panel final report on Systemic Racism and Discrimination.

Minister Anita Anand, together with members of the Advisory Panel, will discuss the contents of the report on how the Department of National Defence (DND) and the Canadian Armed Forces (CAF) can eliminate systemic barriers and discriminatory behaviours to enable inclusivity. The work of the Advisory Panel has focused on Anti-Indigenous and Anti-Black Racism, LGBTQ2+ Prejudice, Gender Bias and White Supremacy.

The live event, where the Chief of the Defence Staff General Wayne Eyre, and Deputy Minister Mr. Bill Matthews will also be present, will be followed by a media availability with all participants.
