Anthony Toomer has been writing poems since he was in junior high school. He was born and raised in Brooklyn, New York. He is married and has two sons. He has a two-year associate degree in Data Processing and has served 6 ½ years in the US Army Reserves. Retired now, he spent 33 years with the New York City Transit Authority as a token clerk, a train conductor, and a motorman train operator. His hobbies include playing poker, old-school music like Motown, and sports. His favorite vacation destinations are the Caribbean and Las Vegas.
