Xaloy, a leading manufacturer of plasticizing screws and barrels for injection and extrusion applications, has announced the ongoing expansion into the Asian market, opening a new sales office in Ahmedabad, India, and and adding three members to its sales team.
The move is part of Xaloys goal of providing knowledgeable, high-quality sales and in-market local support to customers where they are located across the globe.
With its manufacturing facility in Thailand, expansion will bring the number of sales offices in Asia to four:

Bhamini Prajapati, Xaloys new liaison office coordinator, will be based in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India, and will be responsible for ensuring responsive communication, coordinating information documentations and any related requirements to better provide high-quality customer service.
Louis Liu joined Xaloy as an applications engineer based in China and will be responsible for providing technical support to customers for the full range of Xaloy products and will work closely with the global commercial team to define product scope and features for quotations and develop product success case studies for various plastics injection molding and extrusion applications.
Sunny Zhao was promoted to inside sales coordinator for Xaloy in China and will be based in Songjiang, Shanghai, supporting the commercial team with quoting, pricing, entering orders and managing customer inquiries.
Chicago-based Altair Investments acquired Xaloy in February and has been working to reorganize and expand its global sales and service support offerings.
