Council meeting of October 13 not to be held

The following is issued on behalf of the Legislative Council Secretariat:
As the Hong Kong Observatory has announced that the Tropical Cyclone Warning Signal No. 8 will remain in force at least up to 4pm today (October 13), the President of the Legislative Council (LegCo) has directed that the Council meeting of October 13 will not be held. The items originally scheduled for the meeting will be dealt with at the next Council meeting of October 20.
Meanwhile, the service of the LegCo Public Complaints Office will be suspended for the whole day.
