Ms. Jarskog underlined three important aspects in life. The importance of having a vision, purpose and goals on personal, family, group, organizational, national and global level; the importance of values, living in line with your values as well as creating value. Sustainable value-creation rather than running after money and the importance of being agile, flexible and able to keep two ideas in the head at the same time in order to live in our VUCA world (Volatile, Uncertain, Complex and Ambiguous).

Personal growth is not just about “fixing” yourself or recognizing your weaknesses. It’s also about loving and accepting yourself wholly and unconditionally. It is about recognizing your strengths, appreciating them and building on them, being aware of that when you exaggerate a strength it becomes your weakness said Ms. Jarskog.

According to her, in the next year Åsa sees three scenarios; firstly, end-of-the-world party, going back to business as usual; secondly, continued radical de-globalisation and thirdly re-engineering of economics and world order in a more sustainable way. Learning from the positive effects of the crisis. accelerating the ecological transition and rethinking our growth model.

Her Success Mantra for tomorrow is that every crisis teaches you something and makes you stronger and if we invite good things to come out of this, they will.

Åsa believes in democracy, with its pro’s and cons and feels that Governments cannot ensure peoples happiness & Growth, but merely provide the framework necessary for people to be able to create their own happiness and growth.

Her advise to the youth is to Be yourself, Be true to yourself and your values, and Be the change you want to see in the world! Don’t be victims of a crisis; bring change in yourself what you want to see in others.
