Acronis, a global leader in cyber protection, announced the availability of Acronis Cyber Infrastructure 3.0. This is a major update to its universal software-defined infrastructure solution, which uses industry-standard hardware and combines compute, software-defined network, block, file and object storage workloads.
With the release of Acronis Cyber Infrastructure 3.0, the company helps partners and customers improve the performance and stability of their infrastructure, while lowering their operating costs thanks to more flexible licensing. It also adds support for different use cases such as virtual private cloud, hybrid cloud, managed private cloud and hybrid storage.
The release provides customers with application-consistent snapshots of Linux and Windows virtual machine volumes. They also gain flexible virtual networking with support for virtual routers, source network address translation (SNAT), static routes and floating IP addresses.
At the same time, service providers can now manage edge customers easily with multi-tenant support and self-service capabilities that help their customers control and track their own resources. In addition, an OpenStack-compatible API makes it simple for service providers to brand solutions and integrate them seamlessly with their billing and CRM software.
One of the infrastructure’s most popular components, Acronis Backup Gateway, is also enhanced with an intuitive interface for geo-replication, as well as asynchronous replication that allows customers to build optimal backup destinations for local storage, private and public storage needs.
“This update is an exciting step for Acronis toward providing a complete stack of cyber protection solutions to our customers. Together with the recently announced Acronis Cyber Platform, Acronis Cyber Infrastructure is a solid foundation for Acronis’ cyber protection services,” said Serguei Beloussov, Founder and CEO of Acronis. “It is fundamental to our vision of delivering complete end-to-end cyber protection. Acronis simplifies data protection processes so customers can focus on their core business.”
Acronis Cyber Infrastructure 3.0 is the latest update to enhance Acronis’ ability to deliver complete cyber protection to customers and partners. Like Acronis’ other solutions, the new release is designed to address all Five Vectors of Cyber Protection – ensuring the safety, accessibility, privacy, authenticity and security of data (SAPAS). This comprehensive approach helps businesses overcome the challenges that face modern IT teams, such as the ever-increasing complexity, security concerns and costs of maintaining their infrastructure. Through this new update, Acronis expands the easy, efficient and secure protection for all customer data, applications and systems.
