India, 24th June’ 2019; This June, let your television set be your best friend as HISTORY TV18 is taking you on a historical journey with “61st Cavalry: Indian Horse Warriors” to witness the gallantry of our Indian warriors in the epic Battle of Haifa.
The exclusive film, rather documentary, is all set to narrate the dramatic sequence of the events that happened in 1918. Be it the threat from ottoman empire, and the soldiers of the Jodhpur, Mysore and Hyderabad lancers who were spearheading this and who led one of the greatest cavalry charges. The 61st Cavalry, that we call it today. “61st Cavalry: Indian Horse Warriors” is like an ode to the ones who fought fiercely, heroes like Dalpat singh and Aman Singh Jodha, they all went down in the annals of the history.
Viewers will get to watch the exclusive recreation of this iconic battle with the help of archival footage, photographs, real locations, along with interviews with military historians. The idea is to take the viewers through the regiment’s military journey from the battle of Haifa till date. And, not to forget, to showcase the brilliant victory of the Indian cavalry in the Great War.
