Mumbai: DOME, NSCI, India’s premier entertainment and leisure destination, hosted a 2-night laughing riot with the hilarious Russell Peters on 2nd & 3rd June, 2019. The Indo-Canadian comedian returned to his roots in India for his Deported World Tour brought by Zee Live’s Supermoon. The night was filled with the perfect amount of rib-tickling jokes and the Russell-special sarcasm.
An initiative by Zee Live, seats at Dome, NSCI were houseful both nights with a footfall of 8500+ waiting to have a laughter-filled weekend. The night of glee was opened by Jason Collings followed by the long-awaited Emmy, Gemini and Peabody award winning Russell, who brought his unique spin on humour to eager Mumbaikars as he left the audience in splits. His refreshing sense of humour with unexpected ethnic prompts and improv had the audience rolling on the floor hoping for a never ending night. The event was also attended by prominent celebrities like Vicky Kaushal, Taapsee Pannu, Jahnvi Kapoor, Ishan Khattar, Jim Sarbh and Tara Sutaria, to name a few.
