Across the world, Women’s Day is celebrated as a time to honour the simple acts of determination and dedication by ordinary women who play an extraordinary role every single day essaying various tasks. A woman multitasks every single day playing a mother, a wife, a daughter, a professional, a homemaker and legion more roles — each with equal poise and grace. Her strength and indomitable spirit to excel in every profile that she lives deserves a big salute.
Since the last 5 years, Growel’s 101 Mall has been organising the resplendent ArtiSTREE that has been paying a tribute to the strength that symbolises womanhood.
Held to coincide with International Women’s Day, the show pays an ‘artistic ode’ to women by encouraging their creative instincts. This year, the show is back in all its elements to give a platform to the talents of women from the city and provide a space for them to express themselves. To be held from March 7 to 10, the registrations for ArtiSTREE 2019 are now open and here’s calling all the talented and beautiful women to be a part of this lovely show!
Pre cursor to ArtiSTREE 2019
ArtiSTREE 2019 will span over innovative segments like Art & Cuisine, Stage Performances, Social Causes & Environment etc. Each of these segments will provide a superb platform for women to showcase their talent in fine arts, cookery, art and craft, dance etc.
Auditions will kickstart on February 26 with the first round covering the Art & Cuisine segment.
February 27 will see auditions for the Stage Performances.
The audition rounds for Social Causes & Environment segment will be held on February 28.
The main event of ArtiSTREE 2019 will begin on March 7 with educational and informative workshops for women. Art Expo will take place from 8th March to 10th March. Food Stalls Expo will be held on 8th and 9th March. The main event to be held on 9th March will see women showcase their talents through various performances on stage. The main event will also witness famous singer Aakanksha Sharma performing Live for the Audience!!
So, here’s a big shout out to all the talented women in the city. Roll up your sleeves, bring out your hidden talent and be ready to dazzle one and all with your super powers! ArtiSTREE awaits your visit!
