Flying Elephant Designs ventures into making yearly planners solely because they believed how important it is to be preemptive to make your time worthwhile and to make each day count. Hence the second edition of the yearly planner was most appropriately named as “Big Plans 2019”.
With a plethora of yearly planners making rounds in the market- available in numerous sizes and shapes, having an identity of their own- ours too had to be vividly conceptualized to make a mark. 2019 was going to be right amidst several simmering social eventualities in INDIA. Therefore, this thought laid the foundation of the India centric planner. Adding a personal touch to all the products is more than the USP- it’s something that customers identify the brand with. To dish out the best product, FED collaborated with Anaya By Akruthi to come up with a hand illustrated cover for Big Plans 2019 planning over all the big events that’ll be witnessed by our country this year! With a mix of topics such as Elections, Section 377, Waste Management, Digital India, Make in India and so on we came up with a cohesive design for the cover. These hand illustrations were further on digitalised too!
Flying Elephant Designs wanted the users of the Planner to take away something each time they used it, hence we filled the planner with gripping facts and good reads. We also have reusable bookmarks and postcards hence contributing to the longevity of the planner. Not only do they have weekly pages, but we also have a ‘goals page’ to measure and scrutinise “short term” and “quarterly goals.” If something holds major priority, “It’s Important” page too. Not to forget the fun stickers that could come handy all the time!

The conceptualisation and designing phase were then followed by choosing adequate and quality material and getting the illustrations printed on them. Thus, bringing life to our yearly planner 2.0 – Big Plans 2019.
