Anne Wilson Teams Up with Dunkin’® to Support Childhood Cancer Awareness in Nashville.

GRAMMY-nominated artist, songwriter and 2023 Dunkin ambassador Anne Wilson has teamed up with Dunkin to spread joy at Monroe Carell Jr. Childrens Hospital at Vanderbilt this morning, July 19. The heartwarming event featured Wilsons visit to Seacrest Studios for an intimate performance and patient-led interview followed by a donut decorating party to celebrate the return of Dunkins Gold Joy donut, all aimed at bringing happiness and support to children fighting cancer at Monroe Carell and beyond.

I am incredibly grateful for the opportunity to spend a morning with the amazing kids at Monroe Carell, shares Wilson. It warms my heart to bring a moment of joy to their day while we shared music, played games and had a blast decorating donuts from Dunkin. The resilience and strength these children possess is truly inspiring and I feel blessed to have shared this experience with them. Thank you to Monroe Carrell and Dunkin for allowing us to create unforgettable memories.

Starting today (July 19th) until Saturday, August 5th, Dunkin is inviting its customers to shine gold in a joint effort to bolster the mission of the Dunkin Joy in Childhood Foundation: bring joy to children afflicted with illness. The Shine Gold initiative allows guests at participating Dunkin locations throughout Nashville to make a $2 donation to the Dunkin Joy in Childhood Foundation, and in return will receive a free Gold Joy Donut as an expression of gratitude. The Gold Joy Donut a traditional donut ring decorated with gold icing, yellow sprinkles and crowned with a glazed MUNCHKINS Donut Hole Treat pays homage to the childhood cancer awareness ribbon. Thanks to the generosity of Dunkin franchisees throughout Nashville, 100 percent of funds raised from the Dunkin Gold Joy Donut will be donated to local childrens hospitals like Monroe Carell.

Wilson is no stranger to bringing a message of hope and healing with her music. She also released her first book, My Jesus: From Heartache to Hope from Thomas Nelson where Wilson shares her detailed path to healing to help those facing similar experiences.

Following the recent announcement of her and Capitol Christian Music Groups partnership with Universal Music Group Nashville, Wilson has allowed fans to connect with her story through the release of Seventh of June, a deeply personal and heartfelt tribute to her beloved late brother Jacob. Woodrow Wilson Presidential Library hosts JMU archaeology field school

STAUNTON, Va.May 23, 2023PRLog — STAUNTON, VA – The Woodrow Wilson Presidential Library (WWPL) is pleased to announce that it is hosting a James Madison University archaeology field school in its historic gardens. The field school, which began on May 22 and will conclude on June 24, promises an exciting opportunity for students, researchers, and history enthusiasts to delve into the rich, cultural heritage preserved within the museum’s grounds.

“We are delighted to host this exciting archaeology field school,” said Robin von Seldeneck, President and CEO of the Woodrow Wilson Presidential Library. “Previous excavations show that the historic gardens hold a wealth of untold stories, and this collaboration provides a platform for students to contribute to our understanding of the past. This research will guide us as we learn more about the people, including the enslaved individuals who lived and worked in the house, and we are committed to incorporating what we learn into every aspect of our site interpretation.

The historic gardens serve as an ideal setting for the field school. Nestled within the presidential library grounds, these gardens are home to a treasure trove of archaeological artifacts and remnants that pre-date the 1846 birthplace home. Under the guidance of archaeologist Dr. Dennis Blanton, students will engage in immersive excavations, artifact analysis, cataloging, and preservation methods, and will also be exposed to various archaeological research methodologies

The WWPL has been working with Dr. Blanton since 2018, and since that time, he has led several other archaeological investigations in the WWPL gardens.

This field school will also offer an opportunity for members of the public to witness archaeology up close. Visitors to the museum will have the chance to observe the excavations, interact with the students and archaeologists, and learn about the historical significance of the discoveries. Regular tours and educational sessions have been planned to ensure a dynamic experience for all museum visitors.  Additionally, there are several opportunities to volunteer. Please visit, for the most up-to-date information.

The Woodrow Wilson Presidential Library and Museum is an educational institution dedicated to the study of the life of President Wilson and the times in which he lived. In addition to welcoming museum visitors worldwide, the Presidential Library produces online and in-person educational programming for people of all ages. The Museum is located at 20 N. Coalter Street, Staunton VA.
