Miami International Airport APM
MHI Group, jointly with Sumitomo Corporation, won the original order to construct the Skytrain, which links four stations over a distance of roughly 1.1km, in 1999. CMSI has provided O&M services since the line went into operation in September 2010, achieving a safe and reliable transportation system with a high operating ratio. Currently ten 2-car trainsets are in operation, and with the newly ordered vehicles the APM’s transportation capacity will be enhanced further. Their manufacture will be undertaken at the Mihara Machinery Works of Mitsubishi Heavy Industries Engineering, Ltd. (MHIENG).
CMSI was jointly established in January 2009 by Mitsubishi Heavy Industries America, Inc., which oversees MHI’s business operations in the U.S., and Sumitomo Corporation. Since its founding CMSI has performed O&M of all APM systems delivered by MHI Group to international airports in Miami, Washington Dulles, Atlanta, Orlando and Tampa. In this way, the Company is making significant contributions to the safe and stable operation of the transportation systems serving these important hubs.
Going forward, MHI Group will continue to work closely with its service bases around the world to provide solutions of high added value responding to customer needs, including equipment renewals and provision of new services incorporating digital and AI technologies. Through delivery of the electrically driven APM systems, which are clean transportation systems, the Company will provide solutions that promote economic development around the world and address regional issues including improvement of transportation convenience.
APM systems are used worldwide to connect air terminals or function as transportation systems that serve areas near airports.

The current release 5.2. of the SAP-integrated workflow suite “xSuite Business Solutions Cube” has been successfully recertified by SAP, for SAP NetWeaver and the new versions of SAP S/4HANA and S/4HANA Cloud (released October 2021). The certificate covers the workflow suite solutions for invoice processing, order confirmation, order processing and procurement.
When it comes to SAP certification, the xSuite Group keeps all its customers in mind, whether they are still working with ECC systems or already on SAP S/4HANA, or whether their operating model is on-premises, cloud, or hybrid. xSuite Cube solutions can be used independent of operating model. They can run in all environments and are certified for SAP NetWeaver (ECC systems), SAP S/4HANA and SAP S/4HANA Cloud. The “Integration with SAP S/4HANA” certification has been expanded to include the Private Edition and “RISE with SAP,” SAP’s program to support companies in their digital transformation.
Four-fifths of xSuite customers still rely on SAP ERP on-premises. However, the prognosis is that their numbers will steadily decline proportionate to the companies that switch to SAP S/4HANA in the next few years, and which also move to the cloud in the process. This is what the xSuite is preparing for. The company has sought certifications for all scenarios mentioned in order to offer its customers the freedom to choose the cloud model they prefer.
On the SAP journey with xSuite According to Matthias Lemenkühler, CEO of xSuite Group, “The automation of document-based business processes with SAP is our core business, which is why we regularly have our software certified in its full spectrum. Certification assures our customers of high quality and compatibility with SAP’s various deployment models. We take a long-term approach and state-of-the-art technology to accompany our customers individually on their SAP journey, whichever direction it takes.”

Regina, Saskatchewan – Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada
Today, the governments of Canada and Saskatchewan announced applications are now being accepted for the 2022 Saskatchewan Agriculture Student Scholarship Program.
This year’s theme is ‘transparency.’ Applicants of the scholarship are encouraged to explore what transparency is and how it is connected to the public’s perception of modern agriculture. The scholarship encourages conversations about where our food comes from and how everyone along the value chain shares a role in communicating about food production.
Students are invited to submit a creative three-minute video or 1,000-word essay discussing transparency in agriculture. Scholarships will be awarded to students in Grade 12 and/or recent graduates entering agriculture-related post-secondary studies in 2022. One winning scholarship of $4,000 and three runner-up scholarships of $2,000 will be awarded.
“By supporting young people who are passionate about agriculture, we’re building a strong foundation for the future of the industry in Canada. These applicants will get a valuable experience by learning ways we can communicate how food is made.”
– The Honourable Mairie-Claude Bibeau, Minister of Agriculture and Agri-Food
“The strength of our industry is our people. By creating opportunities for young men and women who are passionate about agriculture, we are strengthening the sector and ensuring future success for our province.”

“As a future farmer and rancher, the education I will receive through this scholarship will help me build my strengths as I work towards growing sustainable and reliable produce that I can be proud of.”
