NORTHVALE, New Jersey, USA – New Yorker Electronics has announced the release of the newest Rectron Bridge Rectifiers in 2-, 3- and 4-amp for reduced bridge size. The three new single-phase glass passivated series, the 2A MSB201S-7S, the 3A MSB301S-7S and the 4A MSB401S-7S are 6.6mm x 8.1mm x 1.4mm with up to a 120A surge rating.
The MSB201S, MSB301S and MSB401S have a max surge current of 60A, 100A and 120A, respectively. There are seven versions of each MSB series, with Maximum Recurrent Peak Reverse Voltages and Maximum DC Blocking Voltages ranging from 50V to 1000V and a Maximum RMS Bridge Input Voltage from 35V to 700V.
With a voltage range of 50 to 100 volts, these Single-Phase Surface Mount MSBS Bridge Rectifiers are ideal for automation insertion and printed circuit boards. They can be mounted in any position, have a 1000VR, a maximum surge current of 60A-120A and a 1.1VF. They are designed with a reverse current of 1.0uA and a recovery time of less than 60Hz. All three SMD/SMT series are packaged in a 4-SMD, flat lead (MSB-S type) case.
UL listed with a 94V-O flammability classification, the devices are RoHS3 compliant and are available halogen-free, in tape and reel. They have a typical current squared time of 14.94S and have an operating temp of -55°C to + 150°C.

The ideal choice for soft switched and resonant high frequency converters, it features a unique combination of low conduction and switching losses. Specifically designed to improve efficiency of PFC and output rectification stages of EV / HEV battery charge stations, booster stage of solar inverters and UPS applications, these devices are perfectly matched to operate with MOSFETs or high speed IGBTs.
The 12 new Vishay FRED Pt Gen 5 1200V Hyperfast and Ultrafast rectifiers offer the best conduction and switching loss trade-off for devices in their class. Ranging from 8 A up to 60 A, in single and dual-diode configurations, the Vishay rectifiers are designed to increase the efficiency of high frequency converters and hard- and soft-switched or resonant designs.
Matched to operate with MOSFETs or high speed IGBTs, they supply up to 10-percent lower losses than competing silicon solutions. They are capable of cutting the efficiency gap with SiC diodes in half and provide a cost-effective alternative for applications with frequencies in the range of 50 kHz.
Vishay FRED Pt Gen 5 offers the same forward voltage as competing solutions, while delivering up to 40-perent lower switching losses and QRR. The case molding compound meets UL 94 V-0 flammability rating and its terminals are matte tin plated leads, solderable per J-STD-002 and JESD 22-B102,
