Monarch Tractor Expands AI R&D Team in Singapore

Monarch Tractor, maker of the MK-V, the fully electric, driver-optional, connected tractor, today announces the expansion of its operations in Singapore, signaling major growth and appetite for the company’s A.I., robotics and smart farming technology within the Asia Pacific region (APAC). Building off of its existing Singapore presence and successful expansion into Hyderabad, India, earlier this year, Monarch Tractor will move to develop the next generation of data scientists, machine learning engineers and A.I. practitioners by partnering with government agencies and academic institutions to grow their A.I. research & development team.
“After our early success in Singapore with the development of our ‘Monarch Auto Drive’ tractor operation, we’re excited to continue to evolve our technology with the help of Singapore’s finest talent,” said Praveen Penmetsa, Co-Founder & CEO, Monarch Tractor. “In partnership with the Singapore government, Monarch Tractor is able to provide more job opportunities and also propel our mission for a greener future. More than ever, farmers, government bodies and consumers are looking for more viable options to sustain our planet.”

Building upon Singapore’s early success to develop the MK-V’s driverless capabilities, Monarch’s expansion and development of new talent will work to create automation capabilities that extend to full farm operations leading to the enablement of profitable and sustainable agricultural practices within the region and globally.

As almost 25 percent of global GHG emissions result from agriculture, this strategic expansion will champion and enable large-scale emissions reductions that support Singapore’s Green Plan 2030, including the country’s aspiration to become net-zero by 2050. Monarch is currently hiring talent throughout Singapore to support and develop cutting-edge A.I. robotics technology – creating a smarter, greener and safer farming industry.

Following its launch in 2020, Monarch Tractor has continued to revolutionize the agriculture industry at a global scale through innovative electric and autonomous capabilities. Moving to bring AI to farmer’s fingertips, the company has captured the attention of other major sustainable-focused countries within APAC including New Zealand, where Monarch delivered the first-ever electric tractor to the NZ0 farm.

PAWS NY Returns to Monarch Rooftop for 2023 Barks & Blooms Benefit to Raise Money for People and Pets in Need

Pets Are Wonderful Support (PAWS) NY is thrilled to once again host Barks & Blooms, an annual spring benefit fundraiser supporting the organization’s mission of helping people by helping pets. This year’s event is sponsored by Fur-Ever Friend Corporate Sponsor PetPlate.

PAWS NY is dedicated to doing everything possible to keep our city’s most vulnerable residents together with their pets. By providing volunteer pet care assistance to low-income older adults and those living with illness or disability, PAWS NY’s programs keep pets in their homes while protecting and promoting the bond that is so physically and emotionally valuable to their clients. Volunteers walk dogs, clean the litterbox, transport pets to the vet, provide foster care in a medical emergency, and so much more.

The event, which will include drinks, hors d’oeuvres, and a silent auction, will take place on Tuesday, April 25, from 6:30-9:00pm, at the Monarch Rooftop at 71 W. 35th Street in Midtown Manhattan. Hosted by Lucas Hunt of HUNT Auctioneers, the event will also honor programmatic and funding partner ASPCA and one committed volunteer. Tickets are one sale now.

● Pawsome Pal ($125): General admission to the event, including drinks, a selection of passed and stationed hors d’oeuvres, and a silent auction.
● Very Important Pup ($175): Receive all the above, plus access to a VIP champagne reception from 6:00-6:30pm featuring a Meet and Greet with Louboutina, the Hugging Dog; inclusion of your pet’s photo in the event slideshow; and a special gift bag.
● Pet Tickets ($30): Sold out! The venue is also dog-friendly, and a limited number of Pet Tickets are available, which include a special gift bag with a toy from Gone to the Dogs and treats from Happy Hounds CBD.

“We are so grateful for all our partners, volunteers, and supporters, and we can’t wait to celebrate again with them this spring,” said Rachel Herman, Founder and Executive Director of PAWS NY. “The beautiful Monarch Rooftop will once again be the backdrop for Barks & Blooms, our annual fundraiser where we honor the work we’ve done over the past year and look ahead to continued growth in the future.”

PAWS NY is also thrilled to have a robust silent auction as part of the fundraising event, featuring items such as tickets to a taping of Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen; a two-night stay at a Loews Hotel; VIP tickets to a taping of The Daily Show; pet photo sessions with photographer Kara Mergl; a gift package from Brooklyn Candle Studio; tickets to Sleep No More; a $500 gift card and private shopping party at Veronica Beard; tickets to an American Ballet Theatre performance; a three-month Equinox membership; tickets to New York City sporting events; and much more. Auction items will be available for bidding starting on April 11, 2023, and can be accessed via the GiveSmart platform at that time.

Every dollar raised will support PAWS NY’s mission of providing services to vulnerable New Yorkers who need support caring for their pets due to the physical and financial obstacles they face, with particular emphasis on low-income older adults and individuals living with illness or disability.

“I don’t know how to put into words how helpful this has been to me. PAWS NY is a blessing,” one client said. “My pets are my only family, and PAWS helps me keep them.”

Foxconn and Monarch Tractor Host Reveal Event of Monarch MK-V Tractor to Foxconn Employees at Ohio Facility

Hon Hai Technology Group (“Foxconn”) (TWSE:2317) and Zimeno Inc., (“Monarch Tractor”) hosted a product reveal event of the Monarch Tractor MK-V tractor to Foxconn Ohio employees at Foxconn’s facility in northeast Ohio.

’’As the world’s largest consumer electronics contract manufacturer and solutions provider, Foxconn is proud to partner with Monarch Tractor and reveal to our Ohio employees as the next generation of autonomous electric vehicle tractor,” said Foxconn Technology Group. “The partnership with Monarch Tractor and the product reveal continues the transformation of Foxconn capabilities in the Mahoning Valley.”

August 2022, Foxconn and Monarch Tractor entered into a contract manufacturing agreement (CMA) to produce MK-V tractors at Foxconn’s Ohio facility. The agreement with Monarch Tractor is the first contract manufacturing engagement by Foxconn following the closing of Foxconn’s asset purchase agreement (APA) with Lordstown Motors.

’’Production of our MK-V tractors at the world-class Foxconn facility ensures that our tractors will continue to be built here in the USA by a seasoned team of experts with an unparalleled commitment to quality and care,” said Praveen Penmetsa, co-founder & CEO, Monarch Tractor. “We are very proud to partner with Foxconn on this journey and deliver our tractors globally to accelerate a sustainable farming future.”

Commercial production of Monarch Tractor’s MK-V Series is scheduled to begin Q1 2023 at the Foxconn Ohio facility, an approximately 6.2 million square foot campus of scalable production space. This will follow production of Monarch Tractor’s Founder Series of MK-V tractors in Q4 of 2022 at Monarch Tractor’s Livermore, California manufacturing facility.
