It will amplify the support of Canadians and reinforce the response of Canada’s Humanitarian Coalition and its members as they address the humanitarian needs of crisis-affected Haitians.

Between August 16 and September 3, 2021, Canada will match every dollar individuals donate to the Humanitarian Coalition and its members in response to the crisis, up to a maximum of $2 million.

Global Affairs Canada will transfer the matching funds to the Humanitarian Coalition, which will in turn allocate the total amount of funding among its members based on criteria such as their capacity and presence in the affected region.
