A delegation of Permanent Secretaries and Heads of Departments of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (HKSAR) Government on a nationwide affairs research study finished their program at the National Academy of Governance (NAG) in Beijing today (April 22). Vice President of NAG Mr Li Wentang officiated at the closing event of the research study program.

On behalf of the delegation, the Secretary for the Civil Service, Mrs Ingrid Yeung, revealed appreciation to the Hong Kong and Macao Affairs Office of the State Council and NAG for their thoughtful plans. She stated that although the research study program lasted just 4 days, it used abundant and thorough material, covering topics varying from Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era, to the National 15th Five-Year Plan, the worldwide landscape and nationwide technological advancements. Mrs Yeung revealed self-confidence that all individuals were deeply inspired and benefited profoundly.

She kept in mind that the Beijing journey offered the individuals a clearer and much deeper understanding of the nation’s most current advancements and methods. With the insights got from this research study, Mrs Yeung thinks that the Permanent Secretaries will take a more extensive viewpoint when leading their groups in creating Hong Kong’s five-year strategy, guaranteeing much better positioning with the nationwide advancement methods.
