New Delhi: The Election Commission of India on Monday revealed the schedule for the basic elections to the Legislative Assembly of Bihar. The ballot will be kept in 2 stages– on November 6 and November 11, 2025, while the counting of votes will occur on November 14, 2025.
According to the schedule, the very first stage will cover 121 Assembly constituencies, and the 2nd stage will cover 122 constituencies.
For the very first stage, the Gazette alert will be released on October 10, with the last date for elections being October 17, examination on October 18, and the last date for withdrawal on October 20.
For the 2nd stage, the Gazette alert will be released on October 13, elections close on October 20, examination on October 21, and the last date for withdrawal is October 23.
The whole election procedure will be finished by November 16, 2025, the Commission stated.
