HA starts seasonal influenza vaccination program

Public healthcare facilities and outpatient centers of the Hospital Authority (HA) will begin offering seasonal influenza vaccinations to qualified individuals beginning with September 25 (Thursday) to dovetail with the Government Vaccination Programme 2025/26.
Under the Government Vaccination Programme this year, the HA will primarily supply seasonal influenza vaccinations to qualified clients who have follow-up consultations at HA centers or are confessed to public health centers, consisting of:
- Individuals aged 6 months to under 18 years, and those 50 years or above;
- Pregnant ladies;
- Qualified individuals with intellectual or handicaps;
- Individuals aged 18 to 49 years with persistent medical issues; and
- Long-stay in-patients.
The list of public health centers and outpatient centers supplying vaccinations is set out in the Annex.
Qualified clients might get vaccinations at their arranged follow-up visits at centers. Clients with far-off follow-up consultation dates might go to or call the particular centers for essential plans.
The HA representative interested members of the general public to get vaccinations early. “The risk of influenza transmission increases in winter. People aged 18 or above must sign up with eHealth before getting vaccinations.
