ZS, a global management consulting and technology firm, has released its India social responsibility report for 2024. The report highlights the impact of its initiatives on 85,655 beneficiaries through social programs and strategic partnerships with nonprofit organizations. With a donation of INR 9.3 crores in Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives, ZS collaborated with 20 nonprofit partners to address critical societal challenges in four key areas: healthcare, education, economic empowerment, and environment and sustainability. The firm’s 2,246 volunteers contributed a total of 7,663 hours to programs in these focus areas, demonstrating ZS’s commitment to meaningful Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) priorities.
Commenting on the report, Mohit Sood, regional managing principal at ZS, said, “Access to quality healthcare, education and sustainable livelihoods remains a critical challenge. At ZS, we recognize that meaningful transformation requires strategic action beyond mere intent. Through ZS Cares, we leverage our expertise, resources and partnerships to create a tangible impact where it matters most. In FY 2024-25, we enabled healthcare access to over 72,000 individuals, empowered 7,707 students through STEM education, scholarships and mentorship programs, and supported 713 individuals in achieving financial independence. As we continue this journey, our focus remains clear—to improve life and how we live it.

Some notable highlights from the report include:
Promoting equitable and sustainable access to healthcare: ZS, in India rolled out various healthcare initiatives, positively affecting 72,133 beneficiaries, with a strong focus on preventive care, maternal health and accessibility. Some of the notable initiatives include the vaccination of adolescent girls against cervical cancer across Pune, NCR (Gurgaon, Noida) and Bengaluru. Through its partnership with Shrimad Rajchandra Love and Care (SRLC), ZS conducted 65,394 health screenings. Of these, 15,967 individuals underwent a second screening to track progress—68% showed improved hemoglobin levels and 20% moved out of the anemic category. A Mobile Medical Unit (MMU) donated to the Jeevan Stambh Foundation is expected to serve 5,000 people annually, while health camps and hospital upgrades in urban areas provided critical support to women and newborns.
Empowering future-ready learners: To support its core values, ZS inspired actions that affected over 7,707 students. Through the partnership with Robotex India, students were empowered in STEM and some even achieved international recognition. ZScholar Program provides merit-based scholarships to high-potential students from low-income families to enable their access to educational opportunities.
Building livelihoods with skill development and economic empowerment: ZS’s initiatives for sustainable livelihood have notably empowered women. Through a partnership with the Lending Hands Foundation, ZS empowered 123 women in Bihar with digital literacy education, professional skills and workplace communication training. The year-long program yielded significant outcomes, with 23% of participants securing employment and over 50% pursuing higher education, marking a crucial step toward their financial independence.
Focus on environment and sustainability: ZS prioritized its environmental sustainability agenda with ecosystem enhancement and responsible resource use. The team has planted 16,600 trees across the country—12,000 in New Delhi, 4,100 in Bengaluru and 500 in Pune, and they also restored a 4.5-acre pond in Jurola village, Gurugram that supports 4,000 villagers.
A culture of giving back: Close to 2,246 ZSers contributed over 7,600 hours of volunteer time through major drives like ZS Cares Day and Digital Gurukul, which have helped amplify change at the grass-roots level. In its efforts to reduce technology waste and promote digital access, ZS donated 284 laptops to nonprofit organizations, which helped establish digital labs in schools across the country.
