Meg North wrote her first story about a Halloween party when she was just five years old. From there, she embarked on an incredible journey that led her to write her first fantasy chapter book at age ten and delve into historical fiction in 10th grade.
Meg was surrounded by theater growing up since her parents were local actors. Through her involvement in the theater, she developed a fascination with the Victorian era. As a teenager, she became enamored with the Civil War and spent many happy years researching it. Meg now shares her passion for history as a tour guide and enjoys writing about the 1800s.
