Macys expands its restaurant portfolio with the opening of The Social Kitchen & Libations at Macys Ridgedale in Minnetonka. It offers a convenient and memorable experience, while its modern vibe and open kitchen concept connect traditions to trends. The grand opening will be celebrated with passed appetizers, select wine tasting and a visit from Tattersall Distillery, exclusive for Macys Star Rewards members from 4-5 pm, and open to the public from 5-7 pm.
Culinary Experience
The Social Kitchen & Libations offers a menu that pays tribute to Macys rich history in food service, spanning over 115 years. Guests can enjoy signature dishes such as the famous large popovers, classic chicken pot pie, and refreshing Mandarin salad, which have been beloved by generations of customers in the Twin Cities area. For lunch and dinner, guests can also indulge in signature dishes like the Porchetta Sandwich and Buttermilk Fried Chicken Salad. Additionally, the menu offers a modern twist on traditional dishes, including mouthwatering meatloaf sliders, signature chili, and other delectable options.
In addition to its regular menu, the restaurant also features a brunch menu that includes a Bloody Mary Bar and Cobblestone French Toast, along with the classic menu items. The restaurants selection of cocktails and mimosas, locally sourced from various makers, adds to the unique dining experience.

Adding to the fun and quality dining experience is the centerpiece of the bar – original Waterford chandelier from the 1940s Skyroom in downtown Minneapolis. After being an iconic feature in the River Room until 2013, it came to rest at Macys in 2014, serving as a nod to the past, while the modern cage symbolizes the restaurants ever-evolving spirit of service to special guests.
