Experience a unique afternoon tea at Four Seasons Hotel Bangkok at Chao Phraya River, inspired by the creativity of celebrated designer and artist Bill Bensley and his imaginative art exhibit, the Faroese Chronicles. This exceptional culinary journey pays tribute to the exciting adventures of Bensley and the Faroese Knitting Club, taking guests on a journey through the countries they visited, with artwork from their travels currently on display at the ART Space by MOCA BANGKOK at Four Seasons.
Crafted by Four Seasons Bangkok Executive Pastry Chef Andrea Bonaffini and Chef de Cuisine at The Lounge Patiwarata Chutiwat, this beautiful and artfully designed afternoon tea will transport guests to various parts of the world through the rose-tinted cat-eye lenses of Bensley and the Faroese Knitting Club. Broken into 10 chapters inspired by nine countries visited by Bensley and the Faroese Knitting Club, the menu includes 12 imaginative savoury and sweet petit fours. From the playful Body of banana passion ice cream in the shape of a statuesque backside found in Palermo, Italy, to the delicate foie gras Butterfly inspired by the French Congo, to a chocolate, hazelnut, and coffee version of the iconic cat-eye Glasses of the Faroe Islands.
We are excited to launch this special afternoon tea to celebrate the spirit of adventure and artistry that is at the heart of Bill Bensley and The Faroese Chronicle exhibition, says Lubosh Barta, Four Seasons Bangkok Regional Vice President and General Manager. Our Executive Pastry Chef Andrea and Chef Patiwarata have created an exquisite menu that celebrates the creative artwork inspired by each country visited by Bill and the Faroese Knitting Club, providing guests with a truly unique culinary experience.
The Bill Bensley and The Faroese Chronicle afternoon tea is available only at The Lounge and is priced at THB 1,500++ per person.
