The non-profit organization recently provided quality computers to two individuals who were in dire need in order to maintain their income

Driving Successful Lives, a 501-C3 non-profit organization that works along side and for the benefit of various other charities and individuals in need, recently gave away two high-quality computers to a pair of men who would have lost their sources of income without the donation.  “From time to time, we receive special requests from individuals and families that have no other way to obtain things that are vital to maintaining,” said a spokesperson for Driving Successful Lives.

“These requests range from rental assistance to transportation help to something as commonplace as a laptop or P.C. that can enable someone to earn a living.  The two computers given away in this ocassion were given to a military veteran (who desperately needed a more powerful computer for video editing in order to keep his dream business alive) and a gentelman coping with the ravages of diabetes (who needed the computer to be able to continue to work from home – as he is no longer able to work outside of the home, and didn’t want to simply fall back on social services).”

With the help of everyday citizens – who regularly donate real estate, unwanted vehicles, computers and cash, Driving Successful Lives is able to directly help meet the needs of many many charities, churches, families and individuals every year.  To make a donation, visit: www.drivingsuccessfullives.com or call: 1-888-981-9746.

About Driving Successful Lives

Driving Successful Lives’ mission is to facilitate car donations so that veterans, homeless families, children, those with addictions & other non-profits can benefit from fellow citizens giving-forward.

Every time a person gives to the charity of their choice it may also create a tax benefit for them. The money, the items, and the real property that they have donated to non-profit institutions throughout the tax year may be tax deductible which means that they could end up being the difference between a good tax return and a great tax return. Depending upon the kind of donation and the type of charity or foundation that they chose to donate to, the tax deduction it creates could be very helpful for reducing the amount taxes that they owe. Many successful and wealthy people state that at least to a certain degree, a part of whom they are and what they have become comes at least in part from the practice of giving. Contributing to charities can be a very convenient way to reduce taxes.
