Mr. Chabbert is the chief executive officer of Daher Aircraft Inc., an aircraft manufacturer, a division of Daher Group. Daher notably specializes in aircraft manufacturing, aerospace equipment and systems and logistics and services that support advanced technologies and aircraft concerns. Appointed to his position in 2006, Mr. Chabbert’s extensive leadership expertise includes managing operations and all of the aircraft business functions.
Mr. Chabbert is also involved in program management, marketing, sales, customer support and airworthiness to maintain the safety and reliability of its aircraft. Among all of his responsibilities, he is most interested in serving his customers so they continually receive high quality products that are both safe and tailored to their specific needs. Mr. Chabbert’s customer-centric and innovative approach to products and services have made a huge impact on the success of his career.
During his tenure with Daher Aircraft Inc., Mr. Chabbert has been instrumental in the acquisition of the Kodiak line of products and grown the TBM product line into more than 1,000 aircraft. In 1992, he began his career with Socata as the head of aircraft sales for Europe. Mr. Chabbert later served as the commercial director for Socata Aircraft Inc. from 1996 to 2001, the executive vice president of sales and marketing for Mooney Aerospace Group Ltd. from 2001 to 2005, and the co-director of general aviation for Socata from 2005 to 2010.
Combining his expertise in aviation with his passion for community service, Mr. Chabbert has been involved in charity work that has included utilizing his aircraft to rescue people in various life-threatening situations. He has also been active with various organizations that support his international internship program. Mr. Chabbert is a member and chairman of the General Aviation Manufacturers Association.
Mr. Chabbert initially earned a Master of Business Administration from the Paris ESLSCA Business School. He has been a licensed airline transport pilot since 1989. In 2021, Daher Aircraft Inc. received a Turboprop Product Support Award #1. Mr. Chabbert was also recognized in 2015 with a Medal of Honor from France.
