Newcastle University Vice-Chancellor’s Excellence Scholarships – Postgraduate

New Delhi, February 12, 2019: Newcastle University is pleased to offer 40 Vice-Chancellor’s Excellence Scholarships (VCES) for outstanding international applicants who apply to commence full-time Master’s studies. There are 39 50% tuition fee scholarships and 2 100% tuition fee scholarship.

Value of award: 50% or 100% of tuition fees

Eligibility:
To be considered for the 50% scholarships applicants must:
• be a national of one of the following countries: Algeria, Argentina, Brazil, Canada, Chile, China, Colombia, Ecuador, Egypt, India, Indonesia, Jordan, Lebanon, Malaysia, Mexico, Morocco, Peru, Thailand, Turkey, USA, Venezuela
• be assessed as international for fee purposes
• hold an offer for an eligible Master’s degree programme at the University’s Newcastle city centre campus for the 2019/20 academic year
• already have or expect to receive the equivalent of an upper second class UK honours degree or above

To be considered for the 100% scholarships applicants must:
• be a national of one of the following countries: India, Ghana, Kenya, Nigeria, Uganda
• be assessed as international for fee purposes
• hold an offer for an eligible Master’s degree programme at the University’s Newcastle city centre campus for the 2019/20 academic year
• already have or expect to receive the equivalent of an upper second class UK honours degree or above
Eligible candidates will be assessed according to evidence of academic ability, evidence of commitment to studies and quality of application.

Number of awards: 41 scholarships

Application closing date: 28 February 2019, 30 April 2019 and 28 June 2019
