Clearwater, FL, July 03, 2019 — The United for Human Rights Florida Center, located at 29 N Fort Harrison Avenue in downtown Clearwater, invites the community to its July 4th Open House event to celebrate America’s Independence. On Thursday, July 4th, anytime between 10:00am to 10:00pm, visit the Human Rights Center to get free “Independence Muffins”, American Flags, and other paraphernalia!

242 years ago, or 88750 days ago, Founding Fathers declared their independence from England on July 4th, 1776. However, in today’s world, there is still much to do to protect and ensure that the rights aren’t taken away from people.

July 4th is a day of celebration; with festivals in parks and BBQs at friends’ houses, where fireworks light up the night and families gets together to rejoice. But it’s also a day to rededicate to humanity, for freedom to all human beings so that everyone can live equally. Instead of staying at home, add something new to the day and learn what are those rights that Founding Fathers fought so hard for.

Cristian Vargas, the Executive Director of United for Human Rights Florida stated, “This year for July 4th, we will be rededicating ourselves to not only educate, but empower the community with their inherit human rights.” He invited everyone from the community to come to the center. “Don’t just celebrate the day of our independence, come by our center and become a part of the movement that safeguards our independence; and get delicious food and treats while you’re here.”

The United for Human Rights Center in downtown Clearwater opened its doors so that the entire Tampa Bay community can learn their rights, and more importantly, so that people learn how to apply them. That is why this Thursday, for July 4th, it will be holding an Open House celebration in honor of freedom and human rights for all.

The center will be open from 10:00am to 10:00pm, and will provide free food, red, white and blue muffins, American flags, pinwheels and necklace beads. One can also get a free copy of “your 30 human rights” and a DVD that contains the Story of Human Rights and a video for each right. The 50th guest to enter the Human Rights Center on July 4th will also receive a Human Rights Educator Package and 2 tickets to the annual Human Rights Day Celebration in December.
